Hells Gate is the only National Park in Kenya that you are allowed to get out of the vehicle walk through. Our driver, who had never been before, was quite nervous about that. He seemed to think I was going to run into a herd of buffalo, or something.

Baby elephants at the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. The minders all wear green, so the elephants bond with them, and not all humans, keeping them safer from ivory poachers as adults in the wild.
